Canadian Electrical Code interpretation will also be examined. |

The new blue print reading course was developed to further educate electrical apprentices to accurately interpret and understand the various drawings and specifications required in the construction industry like architectural, mechanical and electrical. This will enable the apprentice to be a more valuable asset to his or her employer and provide quality workmanship and increased productivity in the unionized sector of the construction Industry. |

Basic Energy Management Course
The Course objectives are to deliver hands on sessions to familiarize tradespersons with ways and means currently used to control energy costs in buildings. Inter Provincial Essential Skills Course
This Red Seal Refresher course is designed to assist provincial Construction Electrician certificate holders, section 30 applicants, and individuals who may be having challenges successfully passing the Interprovincial certification examination.
In addition to learning technical information pertaining to the trade, this 60 course integrates essential skills by combining Canadian Electrical Code document use, reading/writing exercises and math refresher units.
Upon completion of the course, participants will have a more confident approach to challenging the interprovincial examination, as well as having an ability to better apply essential skills to the workplace. |
